Relationship is spiraling down and I don't know what to do to fix it!

Question - (15 March 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 March 2011)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Spiraling relationship. I want to help so bad. He keeps having these changes of mind about us and I don't know what to do. Remember: He's the outgoing one, I'm quiet. I always try to start a convo but I get speechless! And it doesn't help that he barely says anything. Shouldn't he try and get me out there to not be so shy and have me try new things? -- Rhetorical. He said it's boring, but it's not like he's doing much. I just want to help. Question: Should I be more decisive, assertive, ummm, loud...? Help. Pleeeease. I really like him.

Yes, he should ease u into more active things to help you socially but only things youre comfortable with doing. To compromise on such a difference in personality, it requires patience and also no putdowns (he said youre boring. Good luck.
