I think he tried coming up to me to say hi or something, because i was walking in the cafeteria and felt someone behind me coming up fast then saw him in the corner of my eye then he slowed down and then came back up again, then i turned around to look at him then he just froze and then he walked off the other way...he tried to make me jealous by flirting with one of his friends, then later i guess he asked someone about me and found out I am 8yrs older than him, I thought he was just 4 yrs younger than me, but anyways he still did show interest towards me after that kind of on and off, then later I decided to talk to him and he seemed uninterested, so I'm not sure If he really liked me before, or is he not comfortable with the age thing? He looks older than his age, and I look younger than my age, so we both look the same age...I talked to my mom about it and she said its actually ok and that our age is just a number...I can't think of any other reason he wouldn't like me except that I'm older than him, because I felt that he really liked me before..so its just sort of weird I guess..unless I was totally wrong and he didn't like me at all...but it doesn't feel that way

I agree with the previous answer.... look elsewhere. He may be in a relationship. There are a lot of men at universities. You do not want to miss out on other opportunities to meet really nice guys while you obsessing over this one man!
