We have only been officially in a relationship for a little over a month, so we haven't had any of those serious conversations that usually happen after you have been dating for a while. He did say he was falling for me, but we haven't said the I love you's etc.. We were at his apartment just watching TV or something and he asked me if a guy has ever asked me to marry him. It was just so weird, I didn't know how to react. Obviously, I am not going to bring this topic up again to him, but I am curious to see what girls/guys think about this. Do you think it was just a random question? I just thought it was kind of a heavy topic, maybe I am wrong...

Something on the tv probably sparked the question, so he asked it.

O.K.. women are from venus men from mars.
No better example of this than the above question.
My dear, understand one thing, most of the stuff that comes out of a man's mouth is absolute bollocks (well it is with me anyway). It probably just popped into his head and he came right out and said it, without thinking.
Alternatively you can follow the path of millions of girls before you and spend days/weeks analysing it over and over again, talking it over with girlfriends etc only to find out that it was just a normal "popped into my head" question.
Save yourself time and stress:
Really, it's nothing.
