If thrush means cold sores on the mouth, then we're in the same page.
1. I'm really unsure of this, but I have only seen 3 people having this in their life. My mom, one of my aunts, and one of my friends.
2. I have never had one, but my mother had had at least 3 times in the time I've known her (19 years). It's been a problem with her because it's very uncomfortable.
3. My mom has told me that the reason why she got the mouth sores was because of stress. She also told me that her immunity system was low as well. These two factors may be the cause of it and probably eating healthy and having little stress would prevent them.
4. I can't really answer this question, but I know that my mom's lip hurt so much she could barely speak.
Please message back if a thrust is a cold sore in the mouth. Also, I hope I helped you a bit at least.
