I've heard a lot of great tips about foreplay and about the importance of listening to your partner etc. But I've not heard much about the actual penetration itself, surely it's not just sticking it in there and out and it's over is it? How much relevance does size have? Do I have to be slow and gentle, is being rough looked down upon? Is there a certain pace women like? ... a certain angle even?

Being rough can be throughrally enjoyed by some... Certainly not looked down upon... If it is the lady's first time I'd say be gental and slow, because if your rough you could hurt her.
Asking what a woman likes and then trying that is always a good idea.
Your body will know what to do when the time comes. It's a natural thing and it will come to you.
Size doesn't have much relivance in my opinion... It depends on the connection and spark between the two people involved and how well suited you are... sexually and emotionally.

well, you have to be gentle at first - especially if its your lady's first time, too. and i think all women are different, just try different things with her and ask what she prefers.
