writes:Hey so my problem is based on due dates in pregnancy.Anyway, i am 23 weeks pregnant and my LMP was November 9 2008 which would make me 24 weeks 6 days. I had an ultrasound on the 30th December 2008 and the guy said that i am due 25-08-2009 and was 5 weeks and 6 days. According to my LMP i am due 16-08-2009 but according to my ultrasounds i am due on the 25th. The baby is measuring according to the ultrasound but i just dont know. My doctor said i must have made a mistake and my LMP would have been the 18th but i know it was the 9th. Also, my HCG levels were 1266 at what i believed was 4 weeks but what the doctor believed was 13 days. Can you even get a positive home pregnancy test that shows up within 3 seconds if you are only 13 days pregnant? i dont know it all seems a little weird. I don't have much of a bump yet but then again the baby kicks so hard everyone who touches my belly can feel it and i started getting kicked (flutters) at 14 weeks. sounds a little early but any advice would be great

reader, anonymous, writes (2 May 2009): I know nothing of these things - but a due date is just a DUE date. it could early it could be late... its just an estimate.
just pick one of the to dates (the first one) and get them to confirm it each time.
the bump will come -
