writes:Soo heres the thing. At least a year and a hald ago, my best friend asked me out. At the time i couldnt date, so i had to say no, and he understands that. Now that i can date, i would reallly really really! love to be his girlfriend...but i dont want to make him love me though. I just want to know if he still likes me the way he did a while ago. I dont know how to find out if he still likes me or not. Btw, i live i WA and his in OR, so it would be a long distance relationship. I know i can trust him, he's not the sex kind of guy and he's sooooo sweet to me. Well alright my question is, How do i know or find out if my friend still likes me?

And he hasin't been on in a while...I talked to my mom about dating him if i ever happend, and she said i had to talk to dad. but i dont wanna bring it up...id rather have my guy friend say something....

 I think the best thing to do is to call him up and just ask him, I don't think there is a better way, and he did ask you out a year and half ago, so you've got nothing to lose
