Potential to date? Or time to move on?

A female Australia age 41-50, anonymous writes:

There's this guy that I've known for a couple of months now and I'm pretty sure that he has been giving me signs that he likes me. We've spoken a lot, spent some time together alone and with others, we've had sex and he is on my mind non stop.

However, I feel that it is too soon to for something a bit serious but I want to tell him that I genuinely like him because I'm leaving in a few days for uni(only 30 minutes away from home and I told him this when we first started talking)

I just want to tell him this if there is potential to date or so that I can move on and start fresh.

I was thinking of sending him a message so he can take his time and let this 'sink in' etc.

So I was wondering how can I tell him this without sounding too scary but direct?
