writes:I need a little bit of help. I am 17, and...well...there is a posabillity that I may be pregnant, and I am scared to death. I don't know what the signs are, and I dont know what to do to find out if I am pregnant are not. Me and my boyfriend had sex two weeks ago, and my period is suposed to start this next week. I've been really moody and tired lately...also sometimes I have this short, sharp pain in my lower abdomin...I don't know if this means anything or not...but please, I would appreciate some help/

 You dont feel anything this early on. Wait until you get your period. Then take a pregnancy test just to be safe. Some women are pregnant and still have their periods. But by that time a pregnancy test, bought at the pharmacy prescription free, will be able to tell you if you are pregnant or not. The instructions on how to use the test will come with the pregnancy test, so just read it and follow the instructions. It is a very easy and simple test to do, and you do it at home.

 Do you have any reason to think you have become pregnant? Did you have unprotected sex? Well first you need to take a pregnancy test, either shop bought or see a doctor. It's always best to take two or three to make sure. Also go on the pill so you don't have this problem. If the tests come back negative and you still have the abdominal pain, see a doctor in case you have another medical problem.

 Wait to see if your period comes first. If it's late then take a pregnancy test. The pains could just be signs that your period's coming on.

Well it might mean something but i would say thats more of a sign of a miscarriage not a full term pregnancy pain... In the first month ull feel bloted and possibly nausious ...smoke will smell disgusting and make u feel like ull throw up ...u start craving wierd things and stuff but i would have someone 18 or over go buy u a pregnancy test to find out for sure...i dont know what state ur in but in ca u have to be 18 or over to buy one

reader, anonymous, writes (5 June 2010): first if you are seventeen you can try to go to the clinic or doctor by your self not your mom or dad aunt etc. no! if you dont want to get caught. They will help you just tell them you really need their help and tell them not to tell your mom dad etc. and they wont if you tell them not to. buy a pregnancy test. sings are pains tires hungry throwing up. dont be scared do what you got to do and if you are pregnant tell your gaurdian
