Anyone have any idea what could be the cause of this? Could it be from soap?? Reply to this Question Share |

Sounds a bit like hemorrhoids to me. http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/hemorrhoids-topic-overview
Probably best to be seen by a doctor to make sure it isn't something more serious. Why take chances with your health?
Take care!

Uncle Phil is right.
You need a bit more fibre: beans, rice, wholegrain stuff.
That will make it a bit softer and then it will not be a giant lump that you have to give birth to.
Our bodies change during summer / winter so it could be the heat that's making your body store things up and compacting it more. All kinds of things affect it so get yourself a big loaf of brown bread and eat some of that for a while.
Good Luck!! xx

It sounds like you may have a fissure, these are very common and rarely cause any problems. There is a product on the market called Anusol-This a suppositary which heals and moisturises the area.
I have something very similar, though often with what looks like a bucket-full of blood...Anusol are such a relief!
However, to be on the safe side, I'd suggest you check with your doctor to ensure there isn't an ongoing problem. They may advise that you make a couple of alterations to your diet, especially if all that's needed is to soften things up a bit.
Please don't worry.
Hope this helps.xx

The tear should heal fairly quickly, but you might also have piles - which is another possible cause of bleeding. We've got a cream which is available over the counter called Anusol here, not sure what the equivalent is in Oz., which takes the sting out and shrinks piles.
A diet full of fibre is the important thing though.
