I was just curious as to how many people have been part of or are currently part of successful relationships where you and your partner are polar opposites in your political views.I've just started going out with this guy who is extremely intelligent and sweet, and there is undeniable chemistry between us. We have a lot in common generally speaking, but I've never been in a relationship with someone whose political views differ so very much from mine. I honestly do not see it as a massive problem, and I think (and very much hope) the relationship will flourish as long as we respect each others' views. I was just wondering if any have had the same experience. Any thoughts or advice on this situation? Reply to this Question Share |

He hates eveything Im okay about relating to u know the world. During elections we we're against each other and he's still pissed about how that result came in. But I do love him and somehow that tension makes it even better for us. We're really passionate about our views and somehow that translates to out sexual life. Haha. Well I truly belive it all depends on the people involved in the relationships and how they handle it cause u guys seem to be perfectly fine with it.
