writes: I try too hard to get something. And generally manage to get it leading in to a blotted ego. But when i get what i want, i find that it didn't give me the kind of pleasure or joy, i thought i would initially and i go in to depression. Please help me break out of this cycle. Its the same as the grass is always greener on the other side, so you hop over the fence only to find that the grass is not so green over there after all.
Don't be so eager to get something, take it in your stride, and relax abit. if you don't get it, say " well so what i will try for something else.

Sometimes the anticipation and the working for something is better than the having. It's just part of life. There can be a letdown once you have achieved something you thought would make you happy. You just need to do a little more soul searching to find out what truly makes you happy and aim your sites towards achieving that goal.
