So basically I have a hard pimple(pustule) directly on my clit under the hood of it and it won’t go away.. it’s been a year and a half since I noticed it. Not only is it there, but was embarrassing as hell when I went to the doctor to check it out. Basically exposed myself. He and the nurse looked at it and felt it up.. said it’s harmless and should clear up on its own, no need for ointments. IT’S STILL THERE. Not that I’m sexually active yet but it still makes me self conscious since I feel like it will never dry out like a normal pimple because all of the moisture down there. I tried to pop it but it’s too much pressure on it and painful so I didn’t yet. If I force it I might leave a bad scar.. or worse an infection. . Also I’m just not supposed to pop it Im told. I must admit this bump makes masturbating more pleasurable, like a clit piercing.. I’m pretty sure I got it from rubbing too hard in the first place. anyway, has anyone ever experienced genital pimples? Reply to this Question Share |

I would recommend women go to a gynecologist when you have questions regarding the female reproductive system, including breasts, uterus, ovaries, and vulva. With the second opinion of a specialist, you will have more peace of mind. A specialist in feminine medicine is better equipped to treat issues of the kind you've described.
Even if the pimple might clear-up eventually on it's own, your emotional and psychological state of mind is just as important as your physical health. See a gynecologist, who will let you know if there is anything that can speed-up the healing process; and give you a proper diagnosis, to be sure it is what your PCP believes it is.

I've had acne of the nether regions but I've got to agree with HoneyPie - it doesn't sound like a pustule.
If it was, it wouldn't have stayed the same for 18 months.(It would have got larger.) And it would be painful and/or itchy. Has it looked/felt the same since you've had it?
It still might disappear on its own but the likelihood is that no one else will notice it except you.
Any other questions feel free to ask?

It's probably a Fordyce spots, or sebaceous glands, are small white or yellow-white bumps inside your vulva. These spots are also found on the lips and cheeks. They normally first appear during puberty, and you tend to get more of them as you age. Fordyce spots are painless and not harmful.
If it doesn't hurt it's not infected.
They CAN go away but sometimes it takes a long time.
They are normal though.
Since you had it looked at its probably not warts or cysts (which is GOOD - you don't want those).
What can you do? Maybe try and leave it be?
It could also be an ingrown hair though the placement doesn't seem conducive for hair/shaving.
