pgissyd agony auntI just reread the part you added. Your on a pill where you take a break, So if you start the course on a tuesday the pack should finish on the monday, first pill tuesday last pill three weeks later on a monday.

So next week you will start taking the new pack on tuesday, then three weeks later, the last tablet before your break will be monday, then you start again the following tuesday.

If you started and ended on tuesday, you would be taking 22 days in stead of 21.

Always start the pack on a tuesday and end on a monday, then you cant go wrong xxx

I hope that makes some sort of sense.

pgissyd agony auntThe trouble is, there are several types of pill. some you take every day continuously, some you have a week off every month. The best thing to do is read the instruction leaflet that came with the pills, or if you like You can give me the full name of them and I can find out for you. If you have missed a pill or taken one when you shouldnt have, then you need to make sure you dont have sex till you have taken it continuously for at least 7 days.

Just forget about your last day's pill and take a break now. It is the pills at the beginning of the pack that matter most. Have the break and then start next Tuesday as normal. Just missing one pill should not affect your contraceptive protection (this is true for my pills) However I would advise you to read the instructions that came with the pack and just treat monday's pill as a missed pill?
