Piles (hemorrhoids) are painful and sometimes even require surgery. I have had chronic hemorrhoids since my first pregnancy 29 years ago.
Are they internal or external hemorrhoids? Because even with internal ones I have managed to have anal sex now and again (never regularly), but I wanted to and I was well prepared for the activity.

And if thats the case for your partner, then anal sex will be difficult for her, painful and will probably make the piles worse again. Sometimes piles become strangulated and can require surgery. So she really should be checked out by her doctor again if she hasnt been for a while. He will be able to help with treatment and advise her about anal sex.
The anus copes as best it can, but it is not really designed for things over a certain size to go in to it. So if your partner is suffering this painful and embarrassing condition, there is a good chance once she has it under control and is comfortable, that she wont want to risk upsetting things again by having sex via that route. You have to be prepared for that and understand if she doesnt want anal sex.

I had to look piles up to try and answer your question.
You definitely don't want to have anal sex until they're treated. And if they hurt then they're not gone. Have her go see a doctor or at the least Google treatments for anal piles.
