Question is, why?Why would men want to find a woman by acting like someone they are not ? For sure the experience of a break up is not nice. And can be hurtful. But that doesn't mean the guy should become a pick up artist just to use women to get over the ex. Maybe I don't fully understand the concept of PUAs. But I think its weak.

Anyone, male or female, can understand that this eventually drives a person to great lengths to remedy the problem. Most guys don't resort to the PUA stuff until they have already been hard-up for a long time first. There is also the issue of nice guys getting tired of finishing last. The ugly truth is that the average guy will usually lose women by treating them too well. It's hard to respect a gender that asks for bad treatment and pushes away good treatment like so many young women do.

 Pick Up Artists (PUA) doesn't means to act like what you're not, it Only teaches you what you should do or be in order to attract a women. It is actually just a way to refine your inner game to achieve success with women. And actually they never manipulate women but just treat them in a certain way which naturally attracts them. They had fine tuned their game so much that it is hard to find any mistake in them so they become irresistible to most of the women and they can choose whom they want to be with. It is not about picking every single women on street. But people who invented it had to do this in order to know what really works and what not. They passed on their wisdom to us which they got through their experience. Now it's upon us to misuse this power or not. The people whom you are pointing towards In your post are not True PUA's but the most desperate ROADSIDE ROMEO's. These losers are found in every part of world. Having a ONE NIGHT STAND is a No brain game, but attractIng a girl you like is for sure.

 I've rarely heard of that outside of Hollywood. I'd assume most pick-up artists are for picking up girls for one night stands. It's sleazy to pretend to be someone you're not for that, but in the end no one would ever really know. It's a slime-ball move, but if they ever tried to make a relationship it would only lead to heartache.
