Period trouble..is there something wrong with me?

okay so I had my period about 3 weeks ago it goes away in about a week so its been at least 2 weeks since I finished it . I went to my dr the day I finished and I started using the birth control patch but I took the 1st one off cause I got paranoid of the side effects then the next day I put the second one on but it came off at the beach so I put the last one in the box on then i decided i'll just start it again in september since one box is suppose to be for one month well anyway now I got my period again and its been 2 weeks since I finished is there something wrong with me ? please I need help

Yes, because like satindesire said, your hormone levels are fluctuating. When you are on the birth control pill, if you continue to take your pills everyday but then skip a few days, you'll usually start your period, even if you're not finished with the pack. Same goes with the patch. What birth control basically does is trick your body into thinking it's pregnant so that it doesn't release any new eggs. So when you don't take it, your body figures it's good to go and starts a new menstrual cycle. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with you. You'll get back on track once you start using the patch again.
