Period problems... caused by the morning after pill?

So my girlfriend ended up getting her period yesterday which made us both super relieved but there is a problem, after a while she stopped bleeding and now she's not bleeding for a while. Could this be because of her illness or because of the morning after pill that she took? She says it's really weird but I'm no expert.
