hmm well my son looks exactly like me an he looks nothin like his father (my ex). an well my ex is a potential father to a little girl (she's 4). i find she looks like him alot, but he thinks otherwise. he finds she looks like her mother's family especially her uncle. also i heard that 1 of the guy's that the little girl's mother slept with, has almost the same features of my son's father.

my ex told me that he slept with this woman like early of may 2005 an the little girl was born like march 10 2006. if he's being truthful, den the dates do not match.

none the less, he stepped up an be a dad to this little girl even though he didnt do a paternity test.

i'm jus tired of all dis baby mama drama.

LethalInjection-x agony auntSure.

Think of it this way, loads of people look just like some celebrities right? Yet they're not related at all.

But, another thing to consider, if you WANTED someone to be the dad, then you'd constantly (perhaps subconsciously) be looking for similarities between the man and the child.

A female reader, Not My Name Australia +, writes (21 March 2010):

Not My Name agony auntOf course it would be possible.

A lot of people have said my boyfriends daughter looks like she could be my own child when she isn't.

Likewise, ..my own son looks nothing like his father - and there is absolutely no question that his father is indeed his father.

Resemblance, or lack thereof, is not always a very conclusive indicator of a childs paternity.

Frank B Kermit agony auntIt all depends who the real father of the baby is. If he is a person that resembles the potential father, then of course.

Entirely Unique agony auntI don't think it happens often but paternity tests aren't 100% so it does/can happen.

Only way to find out is get a second test done.
