A male India age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I have had a torrid time breaking up with my ex-love.

She broke up with me, because her ex-boy friend had come back. I was very serious about her. It took me three years to get her to tell me a yes. I had in fact told my parents that I would be marrying her. It's been a year since we have broken up. I had never been so serious about any one else, I mean I am still finding it tough to come to terms to reality that there can be life beyond her.

However I met girl on a train journey six months back. Now we have become good friends, and she likes me a lot. I like her company as well. My problem is that no matter how hard I try to tell her that "I LOVE YOU" I have not been able to do so. I mean to say that am not able to commit to her. Am afraid of doing so. At the same time I want someone to be in my life. I am a very serious and committed guy I'm financially stable, however it's the emotional stability that I'm having. Do you think I need some more time. I know it's not an illness that you could just prescribe some pills I will swallow and will be fine. But can you help me regain the emotional stability in my life.

I am Desperate.

Every time you see her say I love you and each time you do it will obviously a lot easier each time you do this. You need to move on and forget all about her. If you have any pictures in your home, wallet, etc. Get rid of all of them try to get yourself over that bump. Once you do nothing can stop you. GOOD LUCK and may the best be with you!!!!
