Its been almost a week of pain and my parents finally might take me to the doctors but they're afraid that I go and theres nothing wrong with me. Should I still go?The pain in my ribs is the same and Advil doesn't help and it hurts when I touch my ribs. Reply to this Question Share |

Any chest pain needs to be checked out by a Doctor, there is SO much that can go wrong in there that ignoring it is a very dangerous option!

Pain is your bodys way of telling you that something is wrong! Go and see a doctor, your parents should have taken you right away as any pain in the chest is urgent!

Your parents should execute the fear of wasting time/money/whatever else, and be glad that you are telling them this problem early on so that they can be as proactive as possible and you find that they will not take you, you should find someone else to take you.

yes you should go. it could be something serious like phenomonia , even could be a bruised rib or even symptoms of asthma but it could be nothing. but if its effecting your breathing you should def go to a dr asap.
