I'm a 21 year old girl. I still live at home with my dad but he is so protective. Everytime I go out with friend or my boyfriend he goes in a mood for days. Its like hes never happy unless I in the house.

What can I do about this to show my dad I'm old enough to take care of myself?

This is common, Kara. Dads are just like this. They can't help it. He is overprotective, yes...but he doesn't know how not to be. You can help by being understanding...and let him know that you love him for being concerned about you, but you are a grown-up gal now and can take care of yourself. You will always be is "little girl" no matter how old you get. Don't knock it. There will come a time when you will wish he was still there to love you with no qualifications or conditions. No one else will ever love you so much....
