I'd say it's a coincedence. You can enjoy the idea that maybe you both match perfectly and are destined to be together in a "the universe works in mysterious ways" kind of way lol.. like it's a fun thought for some people, but don't place so much value on it. I respect people who believe in astrology but don't live your life accordingly, if that makes sense. As in, don't base decisions on astrological beliefs.
My ex-boyfriend's [who is a Pisces] first girlfriend was a Cancer, and that didn't end great.. and then he was with me, and I'm a Scorpio, and he said something like Pisces go well with Cancers but are better matched with Scorpios [he was big on Astrology too]. So he was all like ahh we're perfect for each other because of the Pisces-Scorpio thing.. well we didn't end so great either! Haha! But that doesn't mean he should never get with a Cancer or Scorpio girl again. I don't believe that our personalities are determind by the time we were born, or location or anything like that. If you like the idea that you and this girl are destined to be together, it's okay for a cute fun fact, like someone previously mentioned. But like I said, don't place too much value on it.
