writes:my wife of 20 years about 6 months ago started reading the 50 shades books and after 19.5 years of marriage and basic sex every 10-14 days she started wanting sex more and more which doesnt sound bad but eventually started doing things she never did in our marriage and started freaking me out to where I questioned how far was this going to go.So about a week ago I wanted to talk to her and said that she was acting like a sex freak I didnt totally mean it like that but was scared about this and she got severely angry and didnt talk to me for days after me doing everything I could to get back in her favor she is now talking to me but wont let me kiss her and keeps teasing me, where the other day I asked her if she needed a hand in the shower, she said no but I could come in there with her I did and she quickly finished showering and hurried out unlike before. Is she just trying to teach me a lesson, and should I just wait it out or try something else.

OP you only need to ask her one question. Ask her whether the idea of you being a bit more like Christian Grey when it comes to sex turns her on. That's it. It kind of sounds like she does.
Well OP besides being a complete an utter abusive, sociopathic dickhead, Christian Grey is a domination type of man. While his idea of BDSM may not be exactly what she had in mind, something tells me your wife is trying to ignite that kind of furious desire in you a bit. You know, the kind of desire where you're not going to politely ask her if you can enter the shower, you're just going to walk in there, tell her shh and just take her. The idea that when she's in the kitchen making a sandwich you're going to come in and bend her over the counter and take her from behind.
You know, like you used to when you first started dating.
Look she's your wife, you know what she likes, plus you know how she's been acting lately until you tore her down with your comment. Sounds to me like she's trying to build a frustration in you with the hopes of igniting a bit of fiery lust in you that means you do more than just roll on and roll off once every fortnight.
Surprise her OP, grab her ass with both hands when you're passing her in the kitchen and tell her you want to have her right now, you know all the usual stuff.
OP those books have reignited something in her, made her horny as hell, adventurous and dying to spice things up. Why are you not using that to your advantage to get some crazy ass sex going on with your beloved wife?

OP it's been 7 years but I still need to smack/grab/stroke that ass every once in a while.  Well, it sounds like you probably embarrassed her! If you called her a "sex freak" or treated her like one, then she probably is feeling a little bit humiliated.
Why don't you try reading the books? True, they are terrible example of literary wit or academic worth, but your wife clearly was into them and got excited by some of the stuff in there. So maybe if you read them as well, you guys could have some fun talks about what you'd maybe be into.
Sounds like your wife wants to spice things up! And after 20 years, maybe it's time to.
