writes: how do we stop our friends from interfering with our relationship?..and still keep them friends? we love each other deeply,over a year now.. our friends are out of hand and i know they do mean well, but we need it done in a well manner way without loosin our longtime friends. i am 46 she is too, it is not like we are young puppeis in love..lol..our children are supportive even though one of us will be moving a distance away.. You have to tell them they are getting to interested in your life, tell them to back off and that although you know they are well meaning there advice is just not needed as you are a happy couple and know what you are doing.
If any of them are true friends they will hear what you say and leave it at that, those who do not respect you are not true friends and need to be left at the wayside.
