writes: hi there , i have known my turkish husband since april 2007 , our relationship blossomed and i have been to turkey several times to see him as he has not got visa as he didnt really want to come to england until about a year ago . i know everybody says this BUT HE REALLY IS A GREAT GUY , his mother died when he was 17 so he worked hard and sent his sister to university she is now an english teacher . he also can speak really good english . we married 7th april last year 2009 . and we are so very happy , i am older than him but it just doesnt seem to matter to any of us , i made sure i done a lot of research on him and he is dearly loved by lots of english couples in turkey and his family everyone i have me loves him and they have all wrote references for his appeal as he was refused 1st one DUE TO LACK OF EVIDENCE!! i had to have a brain tumour removed last year and he was on the phone or internet every day and i looked like a monster he really was there for me .well i have got appointment for his appeal with imigration office next week , what are my chances ????????? libra suzy

i think the family writing refrences is good evidence and that he is a good citizen in turkey and that he is a good man i think the main thing that will go in your favour is that he is married too a english lady who is living in england they will recognise that both of you need to be with each other as having long distance relationship is hard and you have known each other for a while so thats good shows that the relationship is good secure , i think you have really good chance and i wish you the best of luck there are people being paid too marry men from abroad to get to live in england and they get to stay too
