writes:i (attempted) to have a one night stand with this guy. things were getting really hot and heavy when he asked if i had a condom i told him i didnt we kept fooling around but he couldnt get hard then he went to go check if he had a condom but he said he didnt. i asked him why he couldnt get hard and he said it was because he couldnt "get in the mood if it wasnt going to happen" i was clearly doing everything i could to "get him in the mood" but nothing was working apperantly. we had also been drinking but he had only taken a few shots he did try and mention something about that he said "this is why i dont drink" why do you think he couldnt get it up?

I can read through the lines of your post that you're thinking him not getting hard has something to do with you or what he thinks of you. I can assure you: it is not! If the boy wasn't into you, he wouldn't have been frantically turning every stone in his place looking for a condom.
Alcohol can really get in the way of things! The term "limp di**" applies to that situation. And, as guys, we have our own ways of reducing our arousal levels. I mean, come on, we get stiffies randomly throughout the day; we've gotta have some way to combat those immobilizers ;)
