It was a drunken night when I kissed someone else but I decided to let my boyfriend go as he deserved someone better than that. This boyfriend had been so lovely to me but because of complications we hadn't seen each other very much before I kissed someone else, but I'm not sure why I wanted to kiss someone else. Sure, the alcohol played a part, but still.. I shouldn't have wanted to anyway.I guess this is more about people's opinions than anything, but do you think people change? I don't want to keep hurting people or myself. Thank you! x

You kissed someone else because you were tipsy, a little lonely, a little flattered perhaps. But it was only a kiss, you're only young, and you aren't married with three kids just yet! When people say 'once a cheat always a cheat' they are generally referring to people in a generally happy, committed relationship who have slept with someone else for no apparent reason. Don't be so hard on yourself, you only kissed someone else - it really doesn't mean you will be unable to commit to someone when you find the right person.
