A while back i thought i needed circumsition but the docter told me i just needed to wash regualry as i was kind of afraid of pulling back the foreskin, and im still finding it difficult as the smegma just re-produces after i wash under my foreskin, it doesnt seem to go away. My main query is i have a kind of lump on my penis and at first i though ahhh crap, ive got cancer or something. I then thought to myself, its probably nothing as it looked like a vain or something and i thought u could only get cancer in that part of a man if the lump was on his testicles sack. But this morning when i was having a wash under my foreskin as the smegma was really bad, i pulled my foreskin back to the capacity and i noticed the lump was really noticable. It was slightly vainy but seemed bigger then when my foreskin wasnt pulled back. In all honesty, im scared, scared that i have cancer or soemthing. Now i know the obvious answer is to go to my docters but is there anyone that may know what this is before i book an appointment, is it normal? just a vain? and is there a way i can clean the smegma from my penis effectivly without the risk of it re-producing? thankyou

You are young but cancer can happen at any age, it is unlikely but it doesn't hurt to be sure.
If you don't like your current doctor, get a second opinion.
But see a doctor. A vein as some suggest does NOT feel like a lump.
So go see a doctor.

 Ok sweetie dont panic it could be anything from an STI (if you are sexually active) to just a small cyst its very very unlikely to be cancer so dont freak yourself out so much you will only get yourself worked up into a panic, so just pop to your doctors (as much as you may not want to) and get it checked out its the best thing to do.

 hey chicken well it does sound to me like it could just be a large vein, alot of guys have them and they do look larger when they are flacid. but just to put your worries at ease, i would suggest going and getting it checked. as for the smegma, all i can suggest is cleaning it thoroughly in the morning and evening, you cant stop it coming back but you can keep yourself clean.
