writes: Dear Cupid, I am 16years old and I have liked This family friend for nearly five years and due circumstances I can''t be with him. But everytime I see him I go weak at the knees. He lives in stoke and has a model girlfriend and he teases me because he knows that I like him.Recently I went to his brother wedding and he played me love songs. And when we are in a room full of people he only has eyes for me. constantly staring at each other WHICH MAKES ME FEEL GOOD. I think I love him and it's gone too far I can't stop thinking about him. What can I do to try and forget him? I know I can't confess my feelings!Haven't seen him in 8 and half months because I told his best friend just to spite him because I was sick of these play-hard-to get games that I was checking someone which I was.But I split with dean after!! we only see each 5 times max a year. and my sister in love with his other brother, she thinks i stupeid and that a silly crush I will see him in september what should do? should i play it cool, and not even glance at him? or should I just carry on with these games?

You don't mention how old he is, but I can guess he is aeveral years older than you..? Sorry to break it to you chicky, but this guy obviously enjoys the attention you are giving him (typical!)Sweet sixteen-year-old! - AND a model girlfriend as well!! - He is keeping her on her toes - can you imagine how she must feel, having him giving you all this attention?? I would give him a WIDE berth, as he is obviously just a flirt who likes playing these little games. Believe me, it happens all the time.. men just LOVE having their egos massaged, but if you were to make a move he would probably be scared to death and run a mile, leaving you feeling very foolish - or worse still, take advantage of your trusting nature!! I know I must sound harsh, but I can remember how, at sixteen I so wanted to be loved and IN LOVE with a real man that I imagined every time I made eye contact with a nice-looking man who was kind to me, that it meant more than it actually was..after all at that age, what experience have we got to compare it with?? Don't let him play games with your heart, save it for the one who deserves you. I wish you well, good luck!
