Ive just come back from a fantastic holiday and on the first week met a great guy, but he fell for my best mate and i ended up copping off with his friend. Any how they had a quick kiss but my best mate wasnt really interested and me and him clicked so well. He was only there for a week whilst i was there for two. I couldnt stop thinking about him and on the day i got back i had a message off him and we've chatted via txt for the last couple of days. I really really do like him and he now knows my friend aint interested but i dont wanna lose out on speaking to him if i tell him i like him. Ive tried to hint but i dont think he's got the message and all my friends said i should just go for it. But when i asked him what his type is its completely the opposite to me. I aint slim or have dark hair and i really dont know what to do. Do i or do i not go for it?

Jadzia1127 agony aunt What are you trying to protect? You don't have years of friendship that you're worried about ruining. You don't have a history or past that will haunt you. You have a few days of fun and chatting.

If you don't go for it, you will always wonder if it would have worked out. If you do go for it and he is not interested, then laugh it off for you just saved yourself time and the heartache.

It is always better to be told that he is not interested on your terms early on then being blown off when you have more time invested.

GOOD LUCK!
