A female reader, leogirl18 Canada +, writes (25 August 2010):

There is a chance you could be pregnant. But what you didnt state in your question is whether or not he came inside you? Sperm is what gets you pregnant. But precum can also contain sperm, which could get you pregnant whether he orgasmed and came or not.

Please go to the doctor if you have not already, and get on Birth Control, but do explain that you think you might be pregant. Also respect yourself as a young lady and if you feel you are ready for sex, only do so with a guy you actually love and not just like. And make him wear a condom! If he doesn't want to then he's not worth risking. You are very young and do not need a baby.

Birth control isn't 100%, condoms aren't 100%, the morning after pill isn't 100%, but the % they are is waaaayyyy better then 0% when nothing is used. Abstinence (not having sex) is 100%, if you dont want to wait, then birth control and condoms at the same time are your best chance.

I'm 19, been with a guy for almost 2 years, we have been engaged for 5 months but 15 weeks ago he didnt use a condom and the morning after pill failed. Our baby is due in february. It happens. If you are not ready for a baby and are not going to spend the rest of your life with any guy you have sex with, then sex should wait.

Good luck, and if your period doesn't come when expected, go buy a pregnancy test.

A female reader, prendyxo Canada +, writes (25 August 2010):

of course theres a chance of getting pregnant even if it is your first time, i lost my v when i was 14 it was a drunken one night stand and i didnt use anything and i had the morning after pill but i didnt come on for 5 months and i really did think i was pregnant and 3 pregnancy tests later it turned out i wasnt thankfully but after that ive realised you should always wear protection cause its not worth putting yourself through it at the age of 15, you should go an get the morning after pill from the doctors or you can go to a pharmacy or even a walk-in centre but make sure you get checked for sti's aswell, and once youve had the morning after pill there will be a little booklet with it read that and it will give you information like if your 5 days late then get a pregnancy test but sometimes its the effect of the pill but better safe then sorry, i hope you realise to be using a condom iin future even if you go on the pill or oter contraceptive methods:)

i really would not get too worried. Yes it can only take one time to get pregnant, but that does not mean that you are pregnant. During your menstraul cycle you have 14 days of not being very fertile, so you could of had sex during this time.

But what on earth are you doing having unprotective sex!!!!!!! that's soooooo stupid. I'm 24 and i would never not use something when i am with my boyfriend. Maybe you should ask yourself if you are really ready for sex.

A female reader, PeanutButter United States +, writes (25 August 2010):

PeanutButter agony auntWhen I was 16 I had sex with my then boyfriend. I got pregnant and my son is now 13. Suffice to say, it is always possible to get pregnant - no matter how long he is "in there" or how long you take to stop. It is also more likely that you'll get pregnant if you didn't use a condom and if you were not on the pill. He doesn't need to finish the deed to get you pregnant as there is something called pre-cum and this contains enough sperm to get you pregnant too.

If it has been less than 3 days since this happened you can go to the Dr. and get the "Morning after pill" which is a pill that can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex and can help to prevent pregnancy but the longer you wait the less effective it can be. While talking with your doctor you need to discuss going on the birth control pill AND you need to be using condoms - not just to prevent pregnancy, but to prevent sexually transmitted infections too.

It is also advisable that you go for a check up at the clinic to test for any sexual transmitted infections to be on the safe side because sometimes infections do not show symptoms and you can pass them on to other people days, months or even years after contracting them yourself.

I know that at your age it is easy to get carried away with the moment, but please, if you absolutely must be having sex, please practice safe sex. You have your whole life ahead of you and a child will be a lot to handle at any age, so do the right thing.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (25 August 2010):

I would say it's highly likely.

Do you not think that going to speak to your doctor is a better plan than asking about this on an internet forum. Come one, use your brain.

You should know by now how people get pregnant. If you don't then you DEFINITELY shouldn't be having sex.

Go and get the morning after pill from your doctor or a pharmacist. It may be too late for it now being as it's been a few days, but you might be ok. But you need a medical opinion on this.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (25 August 2010):

1) He's broken the law

2) If you don't understand what happens with sex you shouldn't be doing it.

3) Yes you have every chance of being pregnant.

4) Get yourself of to the doctor's tomorrow and explain you would like the "morning after pill". He'll know what you mean, and he'll give you something a bit stronger.

But please, if you really are going to be having sex, always practise safe sex until you know you're with someone you want to have a baby with.

And I don't mean just get yourself on the pill, have the guy wear a condom! And get yourself checked at least once every two months!

A female reader, tennisstar88 United States +, writes (25 August 2010):

tennisstar88 agony aunt You don't get pregnant instantly, you have to wait to miss or be a week late then spot for a few days if you are pregnant. If any of that happens then I would take a pregnancy test just to be sure. Your a little too young to be having sex much less a baby. Next time, do make him wear condoms and get on birth control as soon as possible. You don't have to tell your mom, you can take a friend with you to the women's clinic and you can get birth control for free.

hi well of course there is a possibility okay it might not be to late to take the morning after pill and if you get a pregnancy test and you are you could have a abortion or if (like me) you are against abortion then could talk to your mom or your dad and boyfriend about the future of this child

hope this helped

Well yes it is possible of course. Why on earth didn't you guy use protection, you're only 15. I'm not saying that you are, but you can get pregnant this way. It's still to early to find out for sure, in a few days time TAKE A TEST.
