I understand that she is only trying to be nice, but I don't want to hang around her or her kids. I have nothing in common with this woman, plus she tries to get her kids involved in the same activites that I am doing and have done. These people are just plain disgusting! I have tried to ignore them, but they still try to get in my face. How can I get them off my back without hurting their feelings? Reply to this Question Share |

It's not to many people who can lay claim to finding people disgusting and yet still not wanting to hurt their feelings.
Well, how about I think it's sweet how you feel this need to look out for me and take you under your family's wing but I like that I can be on my own and make mistakes as it is a part of learning.
I just would like you to treat me like a neighbour and not so much a relative as it makes me a tad uncomfortable.
No matter how you look at it; not all people like being told to bugger off but...it's honest and it will take a bit of "tough love".
Good Luck.
