Not happy with my weight

Question - (13 July 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 14 July 2010)
A age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I am a tiny 4' 10.5".

When I was in middle-high school, I weighed about 82-89 lbs. As an adult (almost 22) I've weighed around 92-95. Which wasn't bad, I didn't think. I've got very large breasts and wide hips and a good sized butt. I've always warn 0-00 petite or XSmall. And I was happy with that. I went on vacation and am now 103 lbs! I want to lose at least 10 pounds.

For my height, this seems overweight. I feel like there's girls that are beautiful and 5' 9" and are only 105 lbs. I'm nearly one foot shorter and the same weight! I have a little tummy, my pants are tighter. I was always really comfortable with my weight and size, now I feel so fat and uncomfortable. I really want to lose 10 pounds this summer.

How can I accomplish this? What diet, exercise, state-of-mind do I need to be in? Again, I'm not exactly fat. Still small. But I feel my tummy and legs expanded too much. Is this impossible or doable? Please give me advice!

LLindy87 agony auntgirls that are 5'9 and are 105 pounds are extremely underweight.

if you are a foot shorter than that, you are considered in a healthy weight range. That is if you're 4'9.

However, I feel like you are taking your weight for granted, I know a lot of people worry about that, but don't get to the point where you're underweight. When you're already in good shape and want to lose ten pounds, which is a lot, and the smaller you are the harder it is to lose weight fast.

btw, if you've been exercising and such, did you know that muscle weighs more than fat? It does. and I feel like instead of focusing on the number on the scale you should focus on your BMI.

go to google and type in "BMI Calculator". There it will tell you if you are in a healthy weight class or not. Being underweight is just as unhealthy as being overweight. You probably should aim for a healthy size, which it sounds like you are in.
