writes: In this day and age when trains stations are crammed with people, coming and going, roadways are congested with traffic.Meeting deadlines maybe at the cost of ones job.Emotions have taken a backseat, love and friendship are something to be off till later.People on their mobile phone walking and talking, and in such a hurry,no time no time. This bring to mind a poem by-William Henry Davies[3rd jULY 1871-26TH September 1940]The name of the poem is...LEISURE..His first two lines were What of this life if full of care,we have no time to stand and stare...His last two lines were....A poor life this is if,full of care we have no time to stand and stare. The principal themes in his work are observations about life and struggles, the ways in which the human condition is reflected in nature.Davies is considered to be one of the great Georgian Poets, but much of his work is not typical in style or theme. This poem is one of my favourite poems because it is suggestion..to have a break,if you like..take time out.I am always amazed how we humans endure life and its many problems, but keep going anyway.I often read the many wonderful answers of the other AUNTS/UNCLES on site, and feel very humble, but always try to do my best.Everyday is a wonderful gift of life.Remembering that you are ...ENOUGH for you.In the words of [Albert Einstein]There are only two ways to live our life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is..NORA B.
