Hi, I'm 16 years old and i've noticed that there is an odd White discharge coming from my vagina and there seem to be small clumps around my clitoris. If I wipe it away it comes back And it's not particularly savoury. I have never had sex or any sexual contact. Anyone feeling like shedding some light on this?!

Hi. If the discharge is different to what you are used to. Ie more of it or its not normally that colour it could be something like thrush. There are lots of little problems we girls can get down there that have nothing to do with sex. Shower gels, soaps even wearing thongs can upset the fine balance of secretions down there. So please do go to your doctor and get it checked out. Its nothing to be scared about and doesnt mean youve had sex or you are dirty in any way. Alot of problems down there are caused by girls being too clean and using too much soap ect. Go and get it checked x

EbonyBlossom agony auntIs it white or yellow? Does it smell? Because white and scentless discharge is normal a lot of girls get it every day. It's just the body's way of keeping clean.

Sincerely Yours agony auntIt could be an infection and may mean that the ph balance in your vagina is off. That can cause bacterial vaginosis or other infections. No big. Just tell your mom or call a doctor and ask for the nurse. I remember seeing that a ton when I was younger.

Make sure you keep it nice and clean down there!

I think you should go to your doctor, but it sounds as though you might have a yeast infection. This is nothing to be embarrassed about, and if you do, you will get what look like little funny tampon things to put in at night for a few days... they are made of a vaseline like stuff that is full of treatment... and it should cure it!

If its not that, the doctor will be able to tell you what it is. :D
