It's so not pathetic! :) If you're still shy around this guy the classic coffee date works beautifully! You're relaxed more and coffee and desserts can be quite calming and fun followed by a nice walk. OR if you both are physical people, something like ice-skating, biking, or canoeing works. Or find a place with a bunch of arcade games like dance dance revolution or a race-track and really enjoy the children in you both. If u like the same music, find some pubs that cater to the genre.Turn to the internet, there are a lot of great ideas out there! Google: fun dates in the UK and you WILL get tons of feedback! So when you have something in mind, call your guy up and see what days he's free. When you settle on a day, tell him you'll pick him up at (insert time) or you'll meet him at (place) and if there's something he might need (like a jacket or an empty stomach) tell him in advance. Before you pick something though, know some more about his likes and dislikes. Then, you can decide on something you both enjoy.
