I hurt for her and feel a bit helpless as neither one of us inclined to bring it up for fear of alienating him and his wife. I just don't understand how one can't make a 2 minute phone call to make another person happy. And, to make matters worse, we all live in the same town and my wife does anything they ask of her because she has such a big heart. Anything I can do to ease her pain?GT57 Reply to this Question Share |

Your wife's son probably, just let it slip his mind a didn't think, if you are on good terms with him have a chat to him and maybe next year, call him or text him to remind him. Be nice to your wife and let her know how much you love and care about her

A stern talk with her son might be the best thing. You're absolutely right. There is no excuse for not thinking of your family on important days like birthdays and holidays.
