Dear Cupid

I want to talk to my new boyfriend more about sex but we’re both a bit embarrassed and I can never think what to say.

We’ve been together for nearly three weeks and are getting a bit more adventurous in the bedroom. We’ve had full sex a few times now, mostly unprotected.

I want to talk to him about what I like and what I want us to do together, for health reasons as much as anything. But it’s a tricky subject and I can’t imagine how to go about starting the conversation.

Can you give me some advice on how to get him to open up and be confident enough to talk to me?

Thanks,

Nervous Nora

Ok first off, "mostly unprotected"....

Sorry, you are too nervous to talk to him about how you like to be touched yet want to have his baby?

Get some condoms or go on the pill before it's too late!! He'll have to hear about your fat ankles, constipation, stretch marks, tearing, and a lot more horrible stuff if you end up pregnant!!

Assuming that you are not a complete idiot and understand that unprotected sex is NOT clever or cool.

Then just talk to him after sex when you are hugging. Tell him "I really liked it when you touched me X Y Z"

Good Luck!! xx

You will have to take the initiative and talk to him - why do you want him to open up to you when you are not confident enough to talk to him???
