I travel a lot .. it's just that I can't sleep well a few days before a trip .. I just always panic about the "what-ifs" but I really love your answer "domo kun" it's such a great way to look at it -- take it all in and enjoy what's around me! I should feel lucky to be able to be fortunate to experience other places by flying around the world. Power of positive thinking is helpful -- thanks again everyone!

I'm a totally nervous flyer, but for the last 5 years I've been forced to fly at least 4-5 times a year. And yes, when turbulence hits, I still get shaky, but this is how I deal with it:
a) Dramamine. No motion sickness AND no memory of a flight that you slept all the way through.
b) getting a book that I'm dying to read, and then saving it for the flight.
c) an iPod with the video feature. That way you can download some new episodes of your favorite show and anticipate something fun and awesome to watch.
d) one glass of wine (or whatever you enjoy). NO MORE THAN ONE. Relax your nerves, don't get smashed... you'll make yourself sick.
I feel your pain. Sorry sweetness!!!!! Happy flights!
