I'm in the "nerd group" of my grade. All of my friends are nerds but me. They are all of my best friends so I dont care if other people think Im a nerd for hanging with them.. But my crush is SUPER popular and has a girlfriend. (Things aren't that serious between them). We have this wierd thing going on- we always watch each other. My crush looks at me all the time and I think he talks about me. But his girlfriend is PERFECT and he always tries to ignore me because his friends are telling him that they are perfect. However, he still stares at me with a blank face and I always stare back until one of us breaks it. I have been noticing that his friends are now watching me too. I think he is starting to like me alittle. The problem is that we NEVER speak together. When ever I try he has his friends around him or I have mine. Sometimes one of my friends will say "HEYY.." and my crush will just look at me in the eyes and say nothing. This is our last year till we go to different highschools. I was wondering if any one knows a way that I can slowly get him to talk to me. I want to be friends with him first but I need a plan... Will you please, please help me??Thank you!

reader, anonymous, writes (18 January 2011): You need to break the ice , find something funny that happens in class and then laugh at it together. Alternatively you could ask him for some help or to borrow a pen or something. Once you have broke the ice you will be fine just concentrate on being friends with him first.
