A male United Kingdom age , anonymous writes:

Dear Cupid

I'm hoping you can help my wife and I. We met as childhood sweethearts and have been married for 59 years.

Recently my wife was assaulted whilst doing the family shopping. She was forced to go to hospital and now she is back at home she refuses to go out through fear.

The man that assaulted her was let of with a caution because he had had no father figure in his life.

Now I can't believe a fought in the war for my country to become like this.

Should I show this man what a Dad is?

fishdish agony auntWait...what's your question? Are you literally asking how to help this offender, or how to help your wife? Because...I think the latter'd be best for your relationship. Maybe i'm just not understanding your phrasing well enough.
