My wife (In the middle of a divorce) has hacked into some of my web pages and done very juvenile things. Are there any repercussions for this? How can I get her back without breaking the law? I have the evidence, but I don't know if what she did was against the law. She has changed the sexual preferences on my pages to be homosexual, typed juvenile things about me etc. It's very frustrating. What can I do?

ok I am sorry about what you are going through but your wife is obvioulsy very upset. I did something similar when my husband decided to divorce me, he is a top banker and I e-maild all his clients to tell them things he had done to them and other persoanl stuff. Caused a rumpus in the City. Now divorcd and 2 years on it was vry childish and stupid but I felt hurt and scorned. He actually took a defmation of character case out against me which cost him in excess of £50k and all i got was a ticking of by the judge who said that I was obvioulsy depressed and mentally unwell because of the divorce

My advice would be if you can bear it to do absolutely

nthing. It would have been the best cause of action for me who caused so much visible trouble. if you ignore her in every way and don't play ball she will eventually grow tired of causing trouble.

Thanks a lot for your answers. It's really hard to do anything while we are separated, I just went online to look for some women friends, is that illegal?

The Gentle Man agony auntI would advise you not to try and get back at her. The whole point in her childish acts is to make you challenge her. She wants to get under your skin. Dont do anything and act like it never happened, that will be the greatest revenge because she will get annoyed that she isnt getting to you.

Change your details back, change the password to something that includes upper case letters, lower case letters and numbers and that she wont guess. Also the longer it is the less likely she will be able to get in.

Repair the damage, change your passwords and leave it at that.

Everyone will know it was her and she is the one who will look like a child for doing it.

Don't sink to her level.

Good Luck!! xx
