I'm thinking of asking my wife for a divorce but we will continue to live together. Does anyone know if this can work? We would have to be able to date and meet other people.Cheers

Big M is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThank you so much for your kind comments. I am trying to patch it up - win her back. If that doesn't work I'm thinking that splitting up is the only way to go. My therapist suggested the living together divorced idea and I'm just not quite sure why he thinks that would work.
Cheers

Don't give up on your marriage just yet!
Enroll in scuba diving, parachuting, travel to Tahiti together. You just need to be open to new experiences together before you open your marriage up!
