My wife and I have grown apart, can't afford divorce, will having an open relationship work?

A male Canada age , *ig M writes:

My wife says she doesn;t love me anymore. We can;t afford to get a divorce and look after our kids and two residences. I need love and affection (sad to admit, but it's true). I'm thinking of asking my wife for a divorce but we will continue to live together. Does anyone know if this can work? We would have to be able to date and meet other people.

Cheers

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I am trying to patch it up - win her back. If that doesn't work I'm thinking that splitting up is the only way to go. My therapist suggested the living together divorced idea and I'm just not quite sure why he thinks that would work.

Cheers

Enroll in scuba diving, parachuting, travel to Tahiti together. You just need to be open to new experiences together before you open your marriage up!
