you should probably try to distance yourself from him to prove your lack of feelings.

The awkwardness starts when he knows that you don't like him and doesn't know how to act around you. Until now, everything was a play to gain your admiration and interest in him.First of all you're in high school, which means that it is highly inappropriate that he make advances towards you. He could even lose his job. If he makes any sort of advances towards you you need to report it. But for now, act like you don't know anything about his feelings and keep a little distance.
