We got out male pomeranian when he was 8 weeks old. He is now 2 years. We crate trained him when he was a baby and he has always let us know when he needs to go to the bathroom. For this whole week, he just stopped letting us know and went right on the kitchen floor and also went on the carpet a different day. We disciplined him big time. Last night he was staing on the back of the couch and just let it go all over the couch. It took me like 2 hours to clean. Then today he jumped up on the couch and pee'd on the cushion. I don t know what to do with him and I have no idea why he is doing this. Hopefully there is a vet out there that will answer this question but if any of you know why he might be being so "teenagerish" by not listening, help he is making me want to just give him away!

I would heartily recommend a dog trainer to come in to your home and help you. They only need a couple of visits and you would be amazed at the helpful advice. Also there are products to spray on things to deter dogs from 'marking' their territory.

Well he might have something wrong with him that is causing him to loose control. If you can afford a pedigree dog then I'm guessing you can afford to get a vet to look him over.

Other than that, has anything changed in the house? If something is new or different this could be a reaction.

My advice is just to take him on more or longer walks so he gets it all out while outside, and praise him and give him treats to encourage him.

Dogs shouldn't be allowed on the sofa anyway so he should be snapped at whenever he goes near it.

Good Luck!! xx

Ok if you got a new pet he would do that or if there is a lot of new "excitement" in the house. If there is someone new or a lot of fighting. Is there anything new going on in your life?
