I read it first, and then gave it to my boyfriend to read. It was an eye-opener for me and him! I finally got a straight explanation about what my PMS was doing to my relationship and how my boyfriend and I could work together to get through it! I highly recommend that you check out the book at www.thepmsguide.com. Good luck!

I have decided to stop my current bc and try to have a healthier diet as well. He knows about the hormonal changes but it is wearing him very thin. He tried to end our relationship last night. I am so unreasonable when I am pms'ing. I am praying we get through this.

Like Aunty BimBim said, a good idea would be to talk to your doctor to see if there's anything that could help.
But as for other things to do, are you mean and snappy because you're in pain? I find that I am, so if you can minimize the pain, hopefully the bad mood will improve. So take Tylenol, drink hot tea, put a hot pack on your stomach, take relaxing warm baths. I'm also very exhausted during my period, so maybe get enough sleep. You could also make it a thing where he keeps some distance when you are pms-ing. So if you get upset or angry, just say to him, I'm in a bad mood from my period, can you just leave me alone for awhile? Then instead of fighting, you can just ride through the emotions until you calm down.

I know around the time of the month women can get certain food cravings and thats totally understandable. Just be careful like with sugar...if u crave sugar eat fruit or even yoghurt or what I like to do is buy granola and make my own trail mix. Eating healthy helps balance out that metabolism and when youre putting junk in ur body, it leans one way i e slows it down thus causing you to seriously "mind sag" and affect your mood. Hope this helps. Feel better :)

The first port of call should be your doctor, explain to him your problems and if your PMS is so bad your relationship is on the brink of disolving your GP should be able to help you manage it better, whether through changes in diet and lifestyle or medication.
