My favorite foods can be served and I'll still only want chocolate and potato chips. Its all I can think about. Its all I want to eat. And when I do eat the foods I'm craving, I keep craving them and eat more and more. In the end, i feel sick from all the crappy foods I've been eating. Is there any way I can control the cravings or any other foods that satisfy the cravings but don't make me feel sick?

Make sure you eat a very healthy diet, sometimes we get cravings because something is lacking. Drink lots of water. Go see the doctor and maybe they can help you draw up a diet that will help to lessen the cravings.
Potato's are starches, so maybe something like oats porridge will help. You need vegetables and red meat, because we need extra iron. Not sure about what could help with chocolate, because chocolate contains special chemicals that makes your brain feel happier and it helps with pain.
You need to talk to your doctor or dietician, they know more about these things. Try your school nurse.

Hi there, periods are bad enough without those cravings!! Try and turn to more healthy foods such as cherry tomatoes or grapes, foods that are easy access but morish too,I know its easier said than done but it will make you feel better.Snack healthy foods are best. Always carry some on you so you dont turn to chocolate and crisps, best of luck

It doesn't work for everyone, but it might be worth a try. Otherwise just give into your cravings (its only once a month) but make sure you drinking plenty of water, and get lots of exercise to make up for it. The other thing you can do is just don't buy the foods, don't have them in the house, so that you can't eat them anyway.

As you get older they'll become less and less. The extreme end would be to get on birth control and control the hormones a bit. The less extreme end would be to take your mind off it. I find it helps to chew gum.
