I stay active as a way to control my agression. However my parents constantly have a go saying i am crazy mental and over the top because i actually give things 100% commitment. Now they are going to stop my karate because i am punching a punchboard. How on earth can i practise karate without making my body stronger. Please help, also i have anger now. How can i deal with it? Reply to this Question Share |

Do you have any idea why they bug you so much about this issue? Maybe because you tend to forget to study or do some other responsibility? But, i believe that is not the case. You just have to ask them plain what do they want or dont want from you.
Honestly speaking, i would be proud to see that my son is doing something productive and commited to it.
Anyway, keep us posted on this! take care.

Tell your parents that you enjoy karate and would like to continue it. Ask them why they are concerned that you are doing well in every aspect of your life. They should be happy for you, ask them what more (or less???) they want from you.
