dr.2.be agony auntHey girl, I know how that feels, I went through the same thing when I was 13.

My mom didn't want me to get a second hole in my ear either and she thought cartilage piercings were whack. She was really old fashioned and wouldn't even let me wear baggy jeans to school or too much black. It was like that until I turned 18. Then it didn't matter to her anymore. I ended up getting 9 piercings.

Cuffs will be a good idea, and they do look like the real thing. Just make sure you take them off at night so you don't lose circulation in your ear as some can be rather tight. When you turn 18 or become a legal adult, your mom may ease up a bit on the rules. Thats when you can get it done for good. A tip for the future though if you do decide to get the real deal, go to a tattoo/body piercing studio for cartilage. They use a needle instead of a gun. Guns will damage your cartilage and you will get hard bumps. Plus it heals up much faster too. I can go into more detail if you wanna know. So just feel free to message me!

Good Luck!!!

I forgive you but you shouldn't let ur kids do whatev they want cause that's not good parenting they will get spoiled and hurt. It's obvious that when you do hav kids if u decide to you will change ur mind once you c them cause you want to protect them and keep them safe letting them do things that they want to do isn't always best and sometimes to keep them safe you have to be mean

eyeswideopen agony auntRight so following your logic let's ask a one year old if he needs a diaper change. There's a damn good reason parents were invented.

13 or not satindesire the fact of the matter is however old you are you and only you should have the choice to do what you want to your body. and at 13 i certainly would not let my mum or anyone make decisions etc on what i can or cant do with my body.

Don't go behind your mom's back because that will make her not trust you. I know, when I was 13 I was in middle school and these other girls were talking about piercing their ear not let someone do it but they wanted to do their own. Being the dumb person I am I went home with my ear pierced, yeah I did it!

I tried to not let my mum see it but she did and she was very upset with me, very very upset and no, my ear didn't fall off, it is in good condition but I was afraid it was going to fall off. The moral of my story is to do what your mom asks you because your days will be shortened and what goes around will come around, believe me.

betty_black agony auntWell i came home at 13 years old with a lip piercing, then another, and another and another.... Til my face was like a sieve!! Its not cool... But its only an ear piercing, as long as your not stretching them id have no problem letting you get them pierced! But if you've talked it out with her and she really doesnt like the idea then get fake ones.
